These Meltaway Brownie Cookies combine the rich, fudgy texture of brownies with the chewy goodness of cookies. With a perfect balance of sweetness, cocoa, and semi-sweet chocolate chips, they melt in your mouth and are perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well mixed.
  • Add Eggs and Vanilla: Add eggs and vanilla extract, mix until smooth.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in Chocolate Chips: Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop the Dough: Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
  • Bake the Cookies: Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are set but centers are still soft.
  • Cool the Cookies: Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
