Scale
  • 1/2 cup white American cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 can diced green chilies, drained
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, combine the white American cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, milk, and sour cream.
  • Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • Stir in the diced green chilies, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  • Continue cooking and stirring until heated through.

Notes

  • You can add more diced green chilies for extra heat or include a small amount of diced jalapeños.
