Description

This creamy, savory Million Dollar Dip is the ultimate crowd-pleaser! With rich cream cheese, tangy sour cream, sharp cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, and a hint of garlic, it’s the perfect dip for any occasion. Serve it with crackers, chips, or fresh veggies for a delicious snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8-ounce block cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 1/4 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup real bacon bits
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the shredded cheddar cheese, bacon bits, green onions, and garlic powder to the mixture. Stir until everything is evenly incorporated.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. If you’d like it to be a bit more savory, you can add a pinch of salt or extra garlic powder.
  • Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Serve chilled with crackers, chips, or fresh vegetables for dipping.

Notes

  • You can substitute the shredded cheddar cheese with other cheeses such as Monterey Jack or a blend of cheddar and mozzarella for variation.
  • If you don’t have real bacon bits, you can cook and crumble fresh bacon.
  • For a lighter version, you can use reduced-fat cream cheese and sour cream.
