Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

2 large eggs (lightly beaten)

1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

3 tablespoons olive oil
For the Sauce:

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

3 garlic cloves (minced)

½ cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons heavy cream

1 tablespoon parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions

Prepare the Chicken:

In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

In another shallow bowl, lightly beat the eggs.

In a third shallow bowl, place the breadcrumbs.

Dip each chicken breast into the flour mixture, then the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

Cook the Chicken:

In a large skillet, heat 3 tablespoons of butter and 3 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.

Once the butter has melted, add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
