Description
A perfect fusion of tender garlic butter steak and creamy, cheesy rigatoni, this dish is a savory indulgence. Rich, buttery steak pairs wonderfully with a flavorful, cheesy pasta sauce. Ideal for a special dinner or satisfying weeknight meal.
Ingredients
For the Steak:
- 2 strip steaks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- Kinder’s Buttery Steak Seasoning (or your favorite steak seasoning)
- Kinder’s The Blend Seasoning (or a mix of salt, pepper, and garlic powder)
For the Sauce:
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ½ teaspoon thyme
- ⅓ cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
Instructions
-
Prepare the Steak:
Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the strip steaks with both Kinder’s Buttery Steak Seasoning and The Blend Seasoning.
Once the skillet is hot, add the steaks and cook for about 3-5 minutes per side (depending on thickness) for medium-rare, or longer to your preferred doneness.
Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest while you prepare the sauce. -
Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. Stir well to combine, allowing the sauce to thicken.
Add the red pepper flakes, oregano, thyme, and sun-dried tomatoes. Stir again and let simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce reaches a creamy consistency. -
Serve:
Slice the rested steaks and arrange them on plates. Pour the creamy sauce over the steak, and serve alongside your favorite rigatoni pasta for a complete meal.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use a high-quality Parmesan cheese.
- You can substitute the strip steaks with ribeye or another cut of steak you prefer.
- Add extra sun-dried tomatoes for more depth of flavor.
