Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Stir in milk, oil, and egg until well combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
