Ingredients
Scale
- 24 Oreo cookies
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Crush Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
- In a bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs and melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until combined.
- Pour the filling over the prepared crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 6 hours or overnight for best results.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
- For a more intense Oreo flavor, you can crush additional Oreos and sprinkle them on top of the cheesecake before serving.
- If you don’t have a springform pan, you can use a regular pie dish, but a springform pan makes it easier to remove the cheesecake.
- For a chocolatey twist, you can drizzle the top with melted chocolate or a chocolate ganache.
