Description

This Old Fashioned Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce is a comforting dessert that’s rich, flavorful, and perfect for using up day-old bread. It’s topped with a velvety vanilla sauce that makes it extra indulgent!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups cubed day-old bread
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 2-quart baking dish.

  • Pour the bread mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the pudding is set and the top is golden brown.

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of bourbon or rum to the vanilla sauce.
