Description
A creamy and savory one-pot meal that combines hearty ground beef, melted cheddar cheese, and the tangy flavors of ranch seasoning. Perfect for a quick and satisfying weeknight dinner!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup milk
- 8 oz pasta (e.g., rotini or penne)
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (1 oz)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and ground beef. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the ranch seasoning mix, then add the beef broth and milk. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Add the pasta to the pot and stir to combine. Cover the pot and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally.
- Once the pasta is cooked, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- You can use any type of pasta you prefer, but short pasta like rotini or penne works best in this dish.
- Feel free to add some veggies like spinach or peas for extra nutrition and color.
- For an extra cheesy dish, sprinkle more shredded cheese on top before serving.
