Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, cooking until the onion is soft.
  3. Stir in the salt, pepper, basil, and oregano.
  4. Add the beef broth, tomatoes, and macaroni, bringing to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer until the macaroni is cooked.
  6. Stir in the cheddar cheese and milk until cheese is melted.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute the ground beef with lean ground turkey.
  • You can use other types of cheese, such as mozzarella or a blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack, for a different flavor.
