- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes

- 8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned.
- Add the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the chicken broth, diced tomatoes, basil, and oregano. Bring to a boil.
- Add the lasagna noodles and simmer until cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and mozzarella cheese, allowing the cheese to melt and the soup to become creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
