This Baked Parmesan-Crusted Cod is a simple and flavorful dish that combines the richness of Parmesan cheese and the lightness of cod fillets. With a creamy, buttery topping, this dish is quick and easy to prepare for a delicious dinner in just 25 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon celery salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise, lemon juice, basil, black pepper, onion powder, and celery salt until well combined.
  • Arrange the cod fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Spread the Parmesan mixture evenly over the top of each fillet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Notes

  • You can use other types of fish fillets like tilapia or haddock if cod is not available.
  • Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
