Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup melted butter and 1 cup peanut butter, stirring until smooth.
  • Add in 1 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup granulated sugar, mixing until well incorporated.
  • Stir in 2 eggs and 2 tsp vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 cups flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, and 1/2 tsp salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bars cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
