- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cups shredded pepper jack cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, heat the milk and butter over medium heat until the butter is melted.
- Add the shredded pepper jack cheese to the saucepan and stir until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until well coated.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For a creamier texture, you can add a splash more milk if the sauce thickens too much. You can also use a mix of cheeses, like cheddar or Monterey Jack, if preferred.
