- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 package pepperoni slices
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil

- Roll out one can of pizza dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared cake pan.
- Spread half of the pizza sauce over the dough, then sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese on top.
- Add a layer of pepperoni slices, then repeat with the remaining sauce, cheese, and pepperoni.
- Roll out the second can of pizza dough and place it on top of the pepperoni layer. Pinch the edges to seal.
- Sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the top and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let the pizza cake cool for a few minutes, then garnish with chopped fresh basil and slice to serve.
Notes
- For a crispier crust, consider brushing the top of the dough with olive oil before baking.
- Feel free to customize the layers by adding other toppings like mushrooms, olives, or bell peppers.
- Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing for cleaner cuts.
