- 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
- 1 loaf French bread, cut in half lengthwise
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a skillet, cook the steak over medium-high heat until browned. Add the bell pepper and onion, cooking until softened.
- Place the French bread on a baking sheet. Spread butter and minced garlic on each half.
- Top with the steak, bell pepper, and onion mixture. Cover with provolone cheese slices.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Slice and serve hot.
