A creamy and indulgent cheesecake featuring a buttery graham cracker crust, rich cream cheese filling, and a delightful pistachio flavor, perfect for any special occasion or dessert craving.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup shelled pistachios, chopped
  • Green food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. Mix until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla extract and chopped pistachios. Add green food coloring if desired.
  • Pour cream cheese mixture over crust in springform pan.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until center is set.
  • Allow to cool completely before removing from pan. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.

Notes

  • For a more intense pistachio flavor, you can add pistachio paste or extra chopped pistachios to the batter.
  • Green food coloring is optional and is only for enhancing the visual appeal.
