Description
This indulgent pull-apart bread features a delicious combination of creamy brie cheese and sweet dried cranberries, all baked in a crispy sourdough loaf. Perfect for sharing as an appetizer or a cozy snack!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 loaf sourdough bread
- 1 wheel brie cheese
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the Bread: Using a sharp knife, make diagonal cuts in the sourdough bread, being careful not to cut all the way through to the bottom. This will create a grid pattern for pulling apart.
- Stuff the Cheese: Cut the brie cheese into small pieces. Stuff the cheese pieces into the cuts you made in the bread.
- Add Cranberries: Sprinkle the dried cranberries generously over the top of the bread, allowing them to fall into the cuts.
- Make the Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, honey, and chopped rosemary. Drizzle this mixture evenly over the bread, making sure to get some into the cuts.
- Wrap and Bake: Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet. This helps the bread steam and keeps it moist.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Then, uncover the bread and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm, and enjoy pulling apart the cheesy, cranberry-filled goodness!
Notes
- For an extra touch, consider adding chopped nuts like walnuts or pecans for added texture.
