These homemade Reese’s Peanut Butter Balls are a perfect treat for peanut butter lovers! Creamy peanut butter and butter are combined with Rice Krispies for a crunchy bite, coated in smooth semisweet chocolate for the ultimate indulgence.

			- 2 cups creamy peanut butter
 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
 - 3 cups powdered sugar
 - 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
 - 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
 - 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
 
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together peanut butter, butter, powdered sugar, and Rice Krispies until well combined.
 - Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a wax paper-lined baking sheet. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
 - In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and vegetable shortening in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
 - Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, coating evenly. Place back on the baking sheet and refrigerate until set.

Notes
- Store these peanut butter balls in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze them for longer storage.
