Description

These homemade Reese’s Peanut Butter Balls are a perfect treat for peanut butter lovers! Creamy peanut butter and butter are combined with Rice Krispies for a crunchy bite, coated in smooth semisweet chocolate for the ultimate indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix together peanut butter, butter, powdered sugar, and Rice Krispies until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a wax paper-lined baking sheet. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and vegetable shortening in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  • Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, coating evenly. Place back on the baking sheet and refrigerate until set.
