Description

A mouthwatering combination of smoky, tender ribs, creamy macaroni and cheese, flavorful smoked cowboy beans, and rich deviled eggs. This hearty, southern-inspired plate is perfect for a weekend barbecue or any special occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 rack of ribs
  • Macaroni and cheese (prepared, either homemade or boxed)
  • Smoked cowboy beans (store-bought or homemade)
  • Deviled eggs (made from 6-8 eggs)

Instructions

  • Preheat the grill to 250°F.
  • Season the ribs generously with your favorite dry rub or seasoning mix.
  • Place the ribs on the grill, bone side down, and cook for 4-5 hours, or until they are tender and have developed a nice smoky flavor. (Optionally, you can use a smoker for extra depth of flavor.)
  • While the ribs are cooking, prepare the macaroni and cheese according to the package instructions (or make it homemade if you prefer).
  • Heat up the smoked cowboy beans on the stove or on the grill until warmed through.
  • To make the deviled eggs: Boil the eggs, peel and halve them. Scoop out the yolks and mix them with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, and any other seasonings of your choice. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
  • Once everything is ready, serve the tender ribs alongside the macaroni and cheese, smoked cowboy beans, and deviled eggs on a platter. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can make your own smoked cowboy beans by combining baked beans with bacon, onions, and barbecue sauce, then smoking them for extra flavor.
  • For the ribs, consider adding a finishing glaze or BBQ sauce during the last 15-20 minutes of cooking for a sweet, caramelized coating.
  • The deviled eggs can be customized with extras like relish, pickles, or hot sauce for a little kick.
