These savory sausage balls are a crowd-pleasing appetizer, combining the perfect blend of creamy, cheesy, and spicy with the signature flavors of sausage and Rotel tomatoes. Easy to make and irresistible, they’re perfect for game day, parties, or just a delicious snack!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 (10 oz) can of Rotel tomatoes and green chilies, drained
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine sausage, Rotel tomatoes, cream cheese, Bisquick, and cheddar cheese.
  • Mix until well combined.
  • Shape mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make sure to drain the Rotel tomatoes thoroughly to avoid excess moisture in the mixture.
  • If you like a spicier kick, you can use the original Rotel tomatoes with green chilies or add extra hot sauce to the mixture.
