Description

These deliciously spicy sausage balls, made with creamy cheese and a hint of heat from Rotel, are perfect for parties, snacks, or a savory appetizer. Quick and easy, they’re packed with flavor and sure to be a crowd favorite.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb hot sausage
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups Bisquick
  • 1 can Rotel, drained

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the hot sausage, cream cheese, Bisquick, and Rotel until well combined.
  • Shape the Balls: Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Bake: Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the sausage balls are browned and cooked through.

Notes

  • These sausage balls can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking. Just bake from frozen for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Feel free to adjust the heat by using mild sausage or a different variety of Rotel.
