This Shrimp Lo Mein is a savory, stir-fried dish with succulent shrimp, colorful bell peppers, and tender lo mein noodles in a flavorful sauce. A quick and easy recipe perfect for a weeknight dinner!


Ingredients

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add garlic and bell peppers. Cook until peppers are slightly tender.
  • Add cooked noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and sugar to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  • Add cooked shrimp back to the skillet and toss everything together.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to customize this dish with your favorite vegetables, such as carrots, mushrooms, or snow peas. For a spicier version, add chili flakes or hot sauce.
