Ingredients

3 lbs chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)

1 1/2 cups BBQ Sauce (Sweet Baby Ray’s Honey BBQ recommended)

1/2 medium onion, grated (with juice)

1 Tbsp olive oil

1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 Tbsp brown sugar
Instructions

Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.

In a bowl, combine BBQ sauce, grated onion with juice, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar.

Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken breasts, making sure they are evenly coated.

Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.

Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and stir it into the sauce.

Serve the shredded BBQ chicken in sandwiches or over rice.

You can adjust the sweetness and tanginess of the sauce by adding more or less brown sugar or BBQ sauce.
