This Slow Cooker Goulash is a hearty, family-friendly meal made with ground beef, tender pasta, and a rich tomato-based sauce. Easy to prepare and perfect for busy weeknights, this comfort food classic comes together with minimal prep and plenty of flavor.
Ingredients
For the Goulash:

1 pound ground beef

1 small yellow onion, diced

2 teaspoons jarred minced garlic

1 green bell pepper, seeded and diced

2 cups tomato basil pasta sauce

8 oz tomato sauce

15 oz diced tomatoes (with juice)

1 cup water

1 teaspoon herb and garlic seasoning

6 oz pasta noodles (elbow macaroni or similar)
Instructions

Brown the Beef (optional but recommended):
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. -
Add Ingredients to Slow Cooker:
Add the browned beef, onion, garlic, bell pepper, tomato basil pasta sauce, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, water, and herb and garlic seasoning to the slow cooker. Stir well to combine. -
Cook:
Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours. -
Add Pasta:
About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the uncooked pasta noodles. Cover and cook until pasta is tender (check after 25–30 minutes). - Serve:
Stir well and serve hot. Optional: top with shredded cheese or fresh parsley.
Notes

Use elbow macaroni, rotini, or penne for best results.
