Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the taco seasoning to the beef and cook according to the package directions, usually adding water as specified.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef, refried beans, shredded cheddar cheese, salsa, sour cream, green onions, and chopped tomatoes. Stir well to combine.
  • Spread the mixture into a serving dish and top with sliced black olives.
  • Chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can top the dip with a little shredded lettuce, jalapeños, or more cheese before serving.
  • If you prefer a spicier dip, you can add diced jalapeños or a few dashes of hot sauce to the mix.
  • You can make this dip ahead of time and store it in the fridge for up to 2 days before serving.
