- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
- Sear the chicken breasts for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, combine sour cream, cream cheese, ranch seasoning mix, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until smooth and heated through.
- Return chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon the creamy mixture over the chicken.
- Top with extra shredded cheddar cheese, if desired.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
