Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and instant yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until bubbly.
  • Stir in the sweetened condensed milk, melted butter, egg, and salt until well combined.
  • Gradually add the flour and knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  • After rising, punch down the dough and shape it into rolls or loaves. Place on a baking sheet and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can brush the top of the dough with melted butter before baking.
