Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 4 oz chorizo, sliced
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  • Cook Spaghetti: Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Sauté Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped peppers, onion, and garlic. Cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Cook Chorizo: Add chorizo to the skillet and cook until browned and crispy.
  • Cook Shrimp: Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add Cream: Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Combine Pasta: Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine, ensuring the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
  • Season: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
