Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar.
- Place the chicken wings in a baking dish and pour the sauce over them, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the wings are cooked through and sticky, turning them halfway through for even cooking.
- In a small saucepan, combine water and cornstarch. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the mixture thickens to form a glaze.
- Once the wings are cooked, brush the glaze over them and broil for 2-3 minutes until they are slightly caramelized and golden.
- Serve the wings garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds for a finishing touch.
Notes
- For extra crispy wings, broil them for a few more minutes after glazing.
- If you prefer a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- These wings can also be cooked on the grill for a smokier flavor.
