These Strawberry and Cinnamon French Toast Roll-Ups are a fun twist on the classic French toast. Filled with a creamy strawberry and cinnamon mixture, these roll-ups are golden, crispy on the outside, and deliciously sweet on the inside. Perfect for breakfast or brunch!


Ingredients

  • 10 slices white sandwich bread
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, for frying

Instructions

  • Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice of bread.
  • In a small bowl, mix together cream cheese, diced strawberries, and cinnamon.
  • Spread a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture onto each slice of bread.
  • Roll up the bread and secure with a toothpick.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and sugar.
  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, then place in the skillet.
  • Cook until golden brown on all sides.
  • Remove toothpicks before serving.

Notes

  • For extra sweetness, dust the roll-ups with powdered sugar before serving.
  • You can also add a drizzle of maple syrup or whipped cream for a richer treat.
