Description

Indulge in a tropical delight with this refreshing Strawberry Piña Colada topped with creamy Malibu frosting. Perfect for summer gatherings or a relaxing evening, this drink combines the sweetness of strawberries and the rich flavor of coconut rum.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz white rum
  • 1 oz Malibu coconut rum
  • 2 oz cream of coconut
  • 2 oz pineapple juice
  • 2 oz strawberry puree
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • Whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (for frosting)
  • 1 tbsp Malibu rum (for frosting)
  • Fresh strawberry for garnish
  • Pineapple wedge for garnish
  • Coconut flakes for garnish

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine white rum, cream of coconut, pineapple juice, strawberry puree, and crushed ice.
  • Blend on high speed until smooth and slushy, about 30 seconds.
  • Pour the mixture into a hurricane glass or tall glass.
  • For the Malibu frosting: In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp of powdered sugar with 1 tbsp of Malibu coconut rum until smooth.
  • Top the drink with a generous swirl of whipped cream.
  • Drizzle the Malibu frosting over the whipped cream.
  • Sprinkle coconut flakes over the frosting.
  • Garnish with a fresh strawberry and a pineapple wedge on the rim of the glass.
  • Serve immediately with a straw, encouraging the drinker to stir the frosting and whipped cream into the drink for added sweetness and coconut flavor.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less powdered sugar to the frosting.
