- 1 box strawberry cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 tub whipped topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake according to the package instructions, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While the cake is baking, whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix with cold milk until it thickens.
- After baking, let the cake cool for about 10 minutes. Poke holes all over the cake using the end of a wooden spoon.
- Pour the vanilla pudding over the cake, making sure it seeps into the holes.
- Spread the strawberry jam evenly over the pudding layer.
- Top with sliced fresh strawberries.
- Spread the whipped topping evenly over the entire cake.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For an extra strawberry flavor, you can replace the water in the cake mix with strawberry-flavored soda.
- Make sure the cake is fully cooled before adding the pudding to avoid it becoming too soft.
- Garnish with additional fresh strawberries or mint leaves for an added touch.
