- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of sugar and water. Cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the cranberries to the saucepan and stir until well coated.
- Using a slotted spoon, remove the cranberries and place them on a wire rack to dry for about 1 hour.
- Roll the cranberries in the remaining sugar until coated.
- Let the cranberries dry for another hour before serving.
Notes
- If you want a lighter coating of sugar, you can reduce the amount of granulated sugar used for rolling.
- These cranberries can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
