Description

This Sweet Potato Pie is a comforting, classic dessert with a creamy, spiced filling made from mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, butter, and vanilla. Perfect for fall or holiday gatherings, it’s a deliciously sweet and smooth treat in a flaky pie crust.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 unbaked pie crust

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together sweet potatoes, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla extract, salt, and milk until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes, or until the filling is set in the middle.
  • Allow to cool before serving.
