Description

These Sweetened Condensed Milk Snowball Cookies are buttery, melt-in-your-mouth treats that are rolled in powdered sugar. Made with a rich sweetened condensed milk base and chopped nuts, they are perfect for holiday baking or any special occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup finely chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pecans)
  • Powdered sugar for rolling

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the flour and mix until well combined.
  • Fold in the chopped nuts.
  • Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cookies are set but not browned.
  • Allow the cookies to cool slightly, then roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute the nuts with mini chocolate chips for a different twist.
  • These cookies freeze well for up to 1 month—store in an airtight container.
  • Be sure not to over-bake, as these cookies should remain pale and tender.
