- 1 lb ground beef (preferably lean)
- 1 oz packet taco seasoning (premium brand)
- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes and green chiles (undrained)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (preferably aged for a richer flavor)
- 8 oz bottle premium Ranch dressing
- 5 packs of 15-count frozen phyllo tart shells

Preheat Oven:
- Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook Beef:
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef until fully cooked and no longer pink.
- Drain any excess fat.

Add Seasoning:
- Stir in the taco seasoning, then add the can of diced tomatoes and green chiles (with liquid).
- Mix well and simmer for 5 minutes before removing from heat.

Prepare Mixture:
- In a separate bowl, mix together the shredded cheddar cheese and ranch dressing.
- Combine this with the cooked taco meat.

Assemble Tarts:
- Carefully spoon the taco meat mixture into the frozen phyllo tart shells.
- If you plan to freeze them for later, now is the time to do so.

Bake:
- Place the filled tarts in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
- If baking from frozen, add an extra 2-3 minutes to the bake time to ensure they heat through properly.
Notes
- These Taco Ranch Bites are great for making ahead of time. Simply assemble and freeze, then bake them right before serving.
- For extra flavor, you can add a dollop of sour cream or a sprinkle of fresh cilantro on top after baking.
