Description

A delightful combination of creamy cheesecake and spiced pumpkin pie, layered together to create the perfect dessert bar for fall!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of cream cheese
  • 1 can of pumpkin puree
  • 1 pie crust (or graham cracker crust)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crust: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Press the crust into a baking pan and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until slightly golden.
  • Make the Filling: In a bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin puree until smooth.
  • Layer and Bake: Pour the pumpkin mixture into the crust and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until set. Let cool and refrigerate for a few hours before cutting into bars.
  • Serve: Top with a dollop of whipped cream if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, swirl in some caramel sauce before baking.
  • Use a toothpick to check for doneness. The bars should be firm to the touch.
