- 1 package of cream cheese
- 1 can of pumpkin puree
- 1 pie crust (or graham cracker crust)
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Prepare the Crust: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Press the crust into a baking pan and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until slightly golden.
- Make the Filling: In a bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin puree until smooth.
- Layer and Bake: Pour the pumpkin mixture into the crust and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until set. Let cool and refrigerate for a few hours before cutting into bars.
- Serve: Top with a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, swirl in some caramel sauce before baking.
- Use a toothpick to check for doneness. The bars should be firm to the touch.
