Description

A mouthwatering fusion of pizza and burger, this pie combines juicy beef, gooey cheese, and a crispy crust for the ultimate comfort food experience! Perfect for dinner, game day, or anytime you’re craving a fun twist on classic flavors.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 pre-made pizza dough (or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for greasing)

For the Filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the Toppings:

  • 810 slices of pepperoni (optional)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a pie dish with olive oil.
  • Prepare the Crust: Roll out the pizza dough to fit your pie dish. Line the dish with the dough, leaving some overhang around the edges.
  • Cook the Beef Mixture: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Add the diced onion and garlic, cooking until softened. Stir in pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
  • Assemble the Pie: Spread half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese mixture on the bottom of the crust. Add the beef mixture, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan on top.
  • Add Toppings: If desired, layer pepperoni slices over the cheese. Sprinkle with oregano or parsley.
  • Bake: Fold the overhanging dough edges over the pie’s edge for a rustic crust. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Cool & Serve: Let the pie cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping if desired.

Notes

  • You can customize the pie with additional toppings like mushrooms, bell peppers, or olives for a more pizza-like experience.
  • For extra flavor, brush the crust with garlic butter before baking.
  • If you prefer a crispier crust, bake the pie for an additional 5 minutes.
