Description

Fresh sweet corn cooked on the Traeger grill for a smoky, charred flavor, with a touch of avocado oil and your favorite herb-based rub. A simple yet delicious side dish that’s perfect for any BBQ or outdoor meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 ears of fresh sweet corn

  • 1/4 cup avocado oil

  • 1/4 cup Traeger Vegetable Rub (or your favorite herb-based rub) optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the Traeger grill to 400°F (200°C).

  • Husk the corn, removing both the outer leaves and silk.

  • Brush the corn with avocado oil, making sure each ear is evenly coated.

  • If using, sprinkle Traeger Vegetable Rub or your favorite herb-based rub over the corn for extra flavor.

  • Place the corn directly on the grill grates. Cook for about 20-25 minutes, turning the corn every 5-7 minutes to ensure even grilling and a slight char.

  • Once the corn is tender and lightly charred, remove it from the grill.

  • Serve immediately with butter, salt, or any additional toppings you like.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a squeeze of lime or sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

  • Adjust the cooking time based on your desired level of char.

  • This is a great side dish to serve with grilled meats, burgers, or salads.
