These decadent Triple Delight Cupcakes offer the best of three worlds: rich chocolate, sweet strawberry, and classic vanilla. Topped with fluffy frosting, whipped cream filling, and a sprinkle of chocolate shavings, they’re a sweet treat that will impress at any occasion. A true cupcake heaven!


Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup strawberry jam
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Topping:

  • ½ cup chocolate frosting
  • ½ cup vanilla frosting
  • ½ cup whipped cream (for filling)
  • Chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prep the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with cupcake liners.
  • Make the Batter: In a bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk, until smooth.
  • Flavor the Layers: Divide the batter into three bowls. Mix cocoa powder into one for the chocolate layer. Stir strawberry jam into the second for the strawberry layer. Leave the third bowl plain for the vanilla layer.
  • Assemble & Bake: Layer the batters into the cupcake liners—start with chocolate, then strawberry, and finish with vanilla. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let the cupcakes cool completely.
  • Add the Filling & Frosting: Core a small hole in the center of each cooled cupcake and fill with whipped cream. Frost the cupcakes with a swirl of chocolate and vanilla frosting using a spatula or piping bag.
  • Final Touch: Drizzle melted chocolate over the frosting and sprinkle with chocolate shavings for a polished finish. Enjoy these decadent and layered cupcakes bursting with flavor!
