Description

Indulge in these Ultimate Giant Chocolate Cookies, rich and fudgy with semi-sweet chocolate chunks. Perfectly crisp on the edges and gooey in the center, they are a chocolate lover’s dream!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chunks

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together until fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chunks.
  • Scoop out large portions of dough (about 1/4 cup each) and place them on the prepared baking sheets, spaced apart to allow for spreading.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the edges are crisp but the centers are still slightly soft. Cool on the baking sheets for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
