Description

These Valentine Oreo Truffles are the perfect sweet treat for the holiday. With a creamy, chocolatey center and a beautiful white chocolate coating, these truffles are easy to make and a fun, festive way to show your love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 regular Oreos (not Double Stuf)
  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • Valentine-themed sprinkles (pink, red, or heart-shaped for decoration)

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
  • In a large bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs and softened cream cheese. Mix well until everything is fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
  • Roll the Oreo-cream cheese mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Freeze the truffles for about 20-30 minutes, until firm.
  • While the truffles are freezing, melt the white chocolate chips or melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 20 seconds until smooth.
  • Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate, making sure it is fully coated.
  • Place the coated truffles back onto the parchment-lined sheet and decorate with Valentine-themed sprinkles before the chocolate hardens.
  • Allow the chocolate to set completely before serving.
  • Enjoy your festive, delicious Valentine Oreo Truffles!

Notes

  • Ensure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easier mixing.
  • Use quality white chocolate for the smoothest coating.
  • You can also dip the truffles in dark or milk chocolate if you prefer a different flavor.
