Ingredients
Scale
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup cream cheese frosting (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Alternately mix in the flour and milk, starting and ending with the flour. Fold in the white chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely. Frost with cream cheese frosting once cooled.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider toasting the pecans before adding them to the batter.
