Description

Indulge in this elegant White Chocolate Pecan Layer Cake, a moist and rich dessert featuring layers of buttery cake filled with white chocolate chips and crunchy pecans, all topped with creamy frosting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese frosting (for topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Alternately mix in the flour and milk, starting and ending with the flour. Fold in the white chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
  • Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely. Frost with cream cheese frosting once cooled.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider toasting the pecans before adding them to the batter.
  • You can double the cream cheese frosting recipe for a thicker layer on the cake.
