Ingredients
For the Wings:
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 cup buffalo sauce (or your favorite wing sauce)
For the Loaded Mashed Potatoes:
- 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Fried Cabbage:
- 1 small head of cabbage, shredded
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
Instructions
For the Wings:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until crispy and cooked through.
- Toss the baked wings in buffalo sauce and serve.
For the Loaded Mashed Potatoes:
- Boil the cubed potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain well.
- Return the potatoes to the pot. Add milk, sour cream, and butter. Mash until smooth.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and chopped green onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Keep warm until ready to serve.
For the Fried Cabbage:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
- Stir in shredded cabbage, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender and slightly caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.
- Add apple cider vinegar and cook for another 2 minutes.
