Christmas is the season of joy, and what better way to spread holiday cheer than with a batch of delicious Winter Wonderland Chocolate Chip Christmas Cookies? These festive treats are not only filled with rich semi-sweet and white chocolate chips but are also adorned with holiday sprinkles, making them the perfect dessert for your holiday gatherings. With their soft, chewy texture and vibrant, cheerful appearance, these cookies will become a favorite in your home.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup holiday sprinkles (red, green, white, or snowflake-shaped)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar with an electric mixer until creamy and smooth. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and holiday sprinkles. Save a few sprinkles to decorate the cookies.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Press extra sprinkles on top.
  • Bake for 8–10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden but centers remain soft.
  • Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
