Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb chicken tenderloins
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Place the chicken tenderloins in a bowl and pour the buttermilk over them. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and dredge each piece in the flour mixture, making sure to coat evenly.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the chicken tenderloins in a single layer.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can spray the chicken with a little more cooking spray halfway through cooking.
- Adjust the cooking time depending on the size of the chicken tenderloins and the model of your air fryer.
- You can substitute chicken breasts if you don’t have tenderloins, but they may need a longer cooking time.
