Description

Bailey’s Chocolate Cheesecake Trifle features rich layers of creamy Bailey’s-infused cheesecake, chocolate pudding, and crushed chocolate cookies, topped with a drizzle of melted chocolate and whipped cream. This indulgent dessert is perfect for any special occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (12 oz) package chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • 1 (8 oz) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips, melted for drizzle
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add in the powdered sugar and Bailey’s Irish Cream, mixing until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the Bailey’s cream cheese mixture.
  • In another bowl, prepare the chocolate pudding mix with cold milk according to package instructions.
  • To assemble the trifle, layer the bottom of a trifle dish or individual glasses with crushed chocolate sandwich cookies.
  • Add a layer of the Bailey’s cream cheese mixture over the cookies, followed by a layer of chocolate pudding.
  • Repeat the layering process until the dish is full, ending with a layer of Bailey’s cream cheese mixture.
  • Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top layer, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  • Before serving, top with a generous swirl of whipped cream and an extra drizzle of chocolate.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, replace Bailey’s with an equal amount of heavy cream and add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. This trifle is perfect for a luxurious dessert at your next gathering.
