Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups chocolate chip cookies, crushed
- 115g (4 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 200g (7 oz) dark or milk chocolate, melted
- Sprinkles, crushed nuts, or extra cookie crumbs for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Make the Cookie Base: In a bowl, mix the crushed cookies with the softened cream cheese until a dough-like consistency forms.
- Shape the Truffles: Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a parchment-lined tray. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Coat in Chocolate: Dip the chilled cookie balls into the melted chocolate, making sure they are fully coated. Use a fork to lift them out and let the excess chocolate drip off. Place them back on the tray and add sprinkles, crushed nuts, or extra cookie crumbs for garnish.
- Set and Serve: Refrigerate for another 20-30 minutes until the chocolate coating is firm. Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
- For variety, you can use different cookie flavors like Oreo or peanut butter.
