Description

These Chocolate Chip Cookie Truffles are the ultimate indulgence for cookie lovers. With a creamy, cookie-filled center coated in smooth melted chocolate, these truffles are a rich, bite-sized treat that will satisfy your sweet tooth. Customize them with sprinkles, crushed nuts, or extra cookie crumbs for added texture and flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups chocolate chip cookies, crushed
  • 115g (4 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 200g (7 oz) dark or milk chocolate, melted
  • Sprinkles, crushed nuts, or extra cookie crumbs for topping (optional)

Instructions

  • Make the Cookie Base: In a bowl, mix the crushed cookies with the softened cream cheese until a dough-like consistency forms.
  • Shape the Truffles: Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a parchment-lined tray. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Coat in Chocolate: Dip the chilled cookie balls into the melted chocolate, making sure they are fully coated. Use a fork to lift them out and let the excess chocolate drip off. Place them back on the tray and add sprinkles, crushed nuts, or extra cookie crumbs for garnish.
  • Set and Serve: Refrigerate for another 20-30 minutes until the chocolate coating is firm. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

  • For variety, you can use different cookie flavors like Oreo or peanut butter.
  • For a sweet-salty contrast, add a pinch of sea salt on top.
  • These truffles can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • Prep Time: 15 minutes
