Instructions
- Dissolve yeast in warm water.

- Cut in shortening until the mixture is crumbly.
- Add the buttermilk and the dissolved yeast mixture, and stir until well combined.
- Mix until the dough comes together.
- Refrigerate overnight for best results.
- When ready to bake, roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut with a biscuit cutter.
- Bake at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
